Come Celebrate Saint Paul!
Welcome to Saint Paul. At our Party in the Park, you will soak up the old world charm of Saint Paul surrounded by the stunning architecture of Rice Park, the city's public gathering place, which is older than New York's Central Park.
Saint Paul is home to Kings, Queens, Princesses, Vulcans and Klondike Kates. The Saint Paul Winter Carnival is one of the nation's oldest festivals and is filled with some of the most colorful characters and stories you'll ever see or hear. At the Party in the Park, you'll have the chance to meet and have your picture taken with these legendary members of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival Royal Court.
Did you know that Saint Paul was once a gangster haven? That's right, in the roaring 20s and the depression era, Saint Paul was the favorite hideout for notorious gangsters like John Dillinger and Ma Barker and the Barker Boys gang. Watch out, at the Party in the Park, you may run into one of these infamous characters.

You'll enjoy delicious appetizers and beverages provided by Wildside Catering, the on-site catering for the Saint Paul RiverCentre complex. You'll enjoy the big band sounds of Vic Volare and his Volare Lounge orchestra as the sounds of swing fills the summer air under beautiful shade trees in this downtown oasis. Dessert will be served next door at Saint Paul RiverCentre, our state-of-the-art convention and meeting facility.
| Finally, ASAE qualified meeting planners will have the opportunity to win $1,000 at our Grand Prize Drawing! The winner will receive the royal treatment as they are escorted back to Minneapolis with limousine and champagne service.

The zany Vulcan Krewe arrives to join the Royal Family and mingle with our guests. A professional photographer will be on hand to capture the moment. The Klondike Kates take the stage to delight and entertain with their uproarious and bawdy style!
Join us for a dessert reception in Saint Paul RiverCentre, our premier convention facility.
