Saint Paul RCVA Welcomes New Board Members and Officers
(Saint Paul, MN) The Saint Paul RiverCentre Convention and Visitors Authority (RCVA) recently elected new leadership at a recent Board of Directors meeting.
Officers of the Executive Committee are Chair - Susan Franson, Northwest Airlines, Vice Chair - Jaye Rykunyk, Minnesota State Director, H.E.R.E.; Treasurer - Mary Jo Woolf, Xcel Energy, Secretary - Bill Cosgriff, Briggs and Morgan. Other members of the Executive Committee include John Labosky, Capital City Partnership; Chuck Paton, Morrissey Hospitality Companies and Shamus O'Meara, Johnson & Condon.
The RCVA's Board of Directors is comprised of 19 individuals, ten of whom are mayoral appointments. Mayor Chris Coleman reappointed Vice Chair Jaye Rykunyk and also appointed three new board members: Ted Davis, Davis Communications Management; James Carlson, Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES) and Rich Ginsburg, The Rotunda Group.
Continuing Board Members are: Dan Bostrom, Saint Paul City Council; Ed Christie, Forepaugh's; Ken Golder, Holiday Inn RiverCentre, Tim Grambley, Crowne Plaza; Pat Harris, Saint Paul City Council; Dr. Eric Jolly, Science Museum of Minnesota; Kathy Lantry, Saint Paul City Council; Bev Turner, St. Paul Travelers and Pam Wheelock, Minnesota Sports and Entertainment. Paton and Wheelock were both re-elected to additional terms by the board.
The board members represent a variety of organizations and industries in Saint Paul, who work to support the staff of the RCVA in marketing Saint Paul to out-of-town visitors.
