More importantly, how do I get to Saint Paul? Our city is easily accessible from all points of the compass. Major highways (Interstate 94 and 35E) run through downtown Saint Paul, making it easily accessible from all parts of the state. For directions, scroll to the bottom of this page.

Saint Paul is a terrific walking city! The city streets are clearly marked, safe and tidy. The stunning architecture and historical wonders are best viewed on foot.
Minneapolis/Saint Paul International Airport
The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) has earned a reputation as one of the safest, most convenient and efficiently run airports in the world. Located just 8-1/2 miles from downtown Saint Paul, more than 34 million travelers use the airport each year, and that number continues to grow. It is anticipated by the year 2010 that more than 40 million travelers will use MSP annually. An aggressive plan is in place for improving facilities to accommodate this growth.

With 12 domestic airlines, three international and four regional airlines, travelers can connect to every major city in six continents. Arriving and departing flights of seven charter airlines also keep the Lindbergh and Humphrey Terminals buzzing. Cargo service at MSP is on the rise with 19 airlines moving shipments through the airport daily.

Airport Shuttle service is available in the Transportation Center at MSP in the Lindbergh Terminal building. Follow the signs located in the baggage claim area.
